In French Guiana, we supported 20 women at our Digital Centre with the association, Les PEP Guyane. We have supported the women since 2018.
🧐 The aim is to encourage social and professional integration for young women in difficulty using digital technology. After the training, eight of the women found a job!
We met with the women volunteers and team from the Digital Centre at Cité Vélane in Toulouse with Christine Albanel. The team explained, “They feel free, independent, and integrated [...] They help one another, and it forges bonds!”
We support the Digit’elles project by Face Alsace in Mulhouse, providing female prisoners with IT training. In September 2019, twenty-four women received training to break the digital divide and encourage rehabilitation.
The Women’s Digital Centre in Mayotte supports women to learn the basics of digital tools for online administrative procedures and professional integration. Confidence and independence are the watchwords of this 6-week computer literacy course.
The Jastrzębie-Zdrój Digital Centre in Poland welcomes young women to develop their digital skills. The association runs "design thinking" workshops, logo creation or website creation, as well as professional workshops on how to create and manage your own micro company and prepare for a job interview.
