35 years of Jazz sous les Pommiers

The 35th edition of the famous jazz festival kicks off on 30 April in Coutances, Normandy. The springtime programme includes eight whole days of concerts.

Enjoy the rare talent on show at the Jazz sous les Pommiers festival with the whole family. This year’s festival features jazz legends Charles Lloyd, Archie Shepp, David Sanborn, French jazz masters Henri Texier, Nguyên Lê, as well as 18 rising stars and 12 newly discovered talents including Leyla McCalla and Raphaël Imbert, providing an eclectic line up of musicians from around the world. From Japan to Brazil, Cuba, Congo, Haiti and South Korea, the 35th edition of Jazz sous les Pommiers will take you on a round-the-world tour!

Make sure you catch the Dee Dee Bridgewater concert on Wednesday 4 May in Coutances. With a subtle blend of traditional and original songs, Dee Dee Bridgewater’s sensitive and generous style appeals to a wide audience of music lovers that extends far beyond fans of jazz. Her concerts take the audience on a journey of swing through New Orleans.
