« Before, I thought that school wasn’t for me »

A story, a need

I left school at 15, and I was convinced that it wasn’t for me. I had some tough years... I couldn’t find my place and I started to lose confidence.

A little step which has changed everything

The day when I joined a Solidarity FabLab at the Bordeaux IUT: It was a revelation! I discovered that I was good with my hands and that I had a “knack” for new technologies.

A new start

Finally, at the Bordeaux Solidarity FabLab, I put my bags down and I never left: 6 months later, I’ve got a job here as a scientific coordinator and designer!

« I like discovering talents and vocations. It’s really great to know that they succeed after leaving their course. »

The Solidarity FabLabs programme

Our ambition

Focusing on digital technology to remotivate, train and improve the employability of struggling young people.

Through an innovative and collaborative learning initiative, during which they create a project with digital machines such as a 3D printer.

With who?

With Fab Managers and the Orange volunteers who support them.
