The Orange Village programme is one of the flagship programmes in support of the social and economic development of the Malagasy population. Inaugurated in early July in Antanamitarana, this twelfth village will bring many benefits to the inhabitants.
The new healthcare centre has been seeing its first patients since early August. Latrines have been installed to ensure better hygiene. Most importantly, a point of access to drinking water has also been created. Lastly, two additional classrooms will become operational in October to welcome middle school children from the village.

Initiated by the Young International Chamber of Antsiranana, this village was completed with the help of Orange Solidarité Madagascar and a contribution from the Town Hall of Antanamitarana. Brigitte Audy, General Secretary of the Foundation, and Luc Héripret, Director of Corporate Sponsorship for Africa, attended the inauguration of the village. An important presence that underlines the importance of the Villages Project and making it a reality on the ground.
