Blues sur Seine Festival

The Blues sur Seine Festival takes place in 31 towns every year in a zone around Mantes-en-Yvelines and the Val de Seine in the Yvelines, running along the banks of the Seine river from Paris to Normandy. Concerts are held in disadvantaged neighbourhoods and rural areas alike.

A national benchmark within the genre, every year the Tremplin Blues sur Seine helps bring the best talents in the French blues scene to the forefront. Selected from around forty applicants, with an average age of less than 35 years, six finalists have been chosen by a jury made up of thirty specialists (written press, radio, festivals). The finalists will perform live for the final. The winner will receive the "Révélation Blues sur Seine" Prize. This prize provides the winner with artistic and professional support for one year, relating to the production (residency, recording), distribution and promotion of their artistic project.
