The 24-year-old Congolese singer-songwriter started her professional music career in 2019. With her single "Tere Mbi," she won the prestigious Prix Découvertes RFI.
She met Philo and Christian Lepira who signed her to the Bomayé Musik Africa label.
Her first album "PRAEFATIO" was released in January 2021 and features YOUSSOUPHA and Sarah BITAMAZIRE. It has been streamed over 500,000 times in six months and reached the Top 300 in 10 different countries 16 times on iTunes and Deezer.
Céline Banza promoted her album during a 2020-2021 African tour with the support of the Orange Foundation as part of its program supporting young African talent.
Last but not least, she was just chosen as the new Unicef ambassador in the Democratic Republic of the Congo during African Women’s Day.
