Digital services for gypsy women in Spain

Our Orange Spain Foundation has just inaugurated a Women’s Digital Centre of Gitan communities in vulnerable situation in Cordoba, in southern Spain.

This women’s area is part of the Edyta, program, the goal of which is to socially integrate these marginalized women through digital training. Teaching them to master digital tools is an essential step towards their autonomy.

The Edyta Program

The associations are equipped with computers and tablets ... and provide digital training adapted to the situation and professional skills of the participants. They learn how to create a resume, look for a job on-line, use the Internet ... anything that can help them find work.

Our Women’s Digital Centre programme is present in 18 countries and has already benefited 11,000 disadvantaged women.
