The 24 children in the Mozart class at the Académie Jaroussky performed at Seine Musicale on 23 June 2018. They presented the musical progress accomplished during their first year to their families, friends and all the partners of the academy.
This concert marked the end of the first year of a three-year course at the Académie Musicale Philippe Jaroussky. A wonderful opportunity to meet them so that they could tell us all about their adventure.

Philippe Jaroussky insists on the importance of these first concerts, which can represent a "second birth" for the young pupils. "We all started off by hitting a key".
The Académie musicale Philippe Jaroussky offers two programmes:
"Young talents", a vocational programme intended to lead to professional integration for young singers, pianists, violinists and cellists from 18 to 30 years old
"Young pupils", a 3-year musical programme for 24 children between the ages of 7 and 12 from families with no access to classical music for financial or cultural reasons.
This artistic and human project corresponds to the priorities of the Orange Foundation.
For 30 years, we have been identifying and encouraging the professional integration of young singers and we support cultural mediation projects for people with no access to culture.
