Festivals are a platform for artists and a place of discovery for the public and a wonderful means of disseminating culture. At the Orange Foundation, we support around twenty festivals all over France each year.

This bold, creative and international programme which gives an opportunity to musical acts and meets with an every increasing audience is a cultural talent pool that we have been seeking to protect for nearly 30 years!

Baroque, contemporary, jazz and world music festivals

In 2014 we supported baroque festivals (Festival de Beaune), lyrical festivals (Chorégies d’Orange, Abbaye de Noirlac, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence…), contemporary festivals (Musica in Strasbourg), jazz festivals (Détours de Babel in Grenoble, Festival Jazz sous les Pommiers in Coutances...), and world music festivals (Babel Med in Marseille, Festivals de Saint Nazaire, Festival les Temps Chauds in Bourg-en-Bresse and Festival au Fil des Voix in Paris, Marseille and Vaison-la-Romaine...).

Selection criteria

Each festival is unique. What do they have in common? They develop residences, workshops and academies to promote collaboration between artists and to reach new audiences. At the Foundation we support the values of openness to a broad audience and spreading culture.

From stage to stage and city to city, together let’s encourage these spaces for exchange and sharing!
