#Imake4mycity Challenge: 17 projects in six countries

We have just chosen the projects for the #Imake4mycity challenge! All in all, some 17 teams in six countries designed and developed intelligent solutions for the city of the future. The three best projects will be revealed at a ceremony held in Paris.

The international challenge, I Make 4 My City, will call on the support of a wide range of Solidarity FabLabs. In France, Egypt, Spain, Poland, Senegal and Tunisia. Each team developed a project that addresses the issues in its country and, more specifically, city of origin.
The projects cover various fields, from public healthcare to urban transport and street lighting. While some of the projects have already been finalised, others are still in the prototype phase.

All of the projects, carried out by teams of young people aged 12-25, provide real, innovative solutions for modern cities and their inhabitants. With no qualifications or educational difficulties, the young individuals are trained and guided by the Solidarity FabLabs that we support. They have been working on the projects for several weeks now. It has given them the chance to learn and show their true potential.
Three prizes will be awarded for the best Solidarity FabLabs projects:

The three wining projects will each be awarded 15,000 euros at a ceremony held on 6 April in Paris.
