Born in Côte d’Ivoire, Kandy Guira moved to Burkina Faso at the age of five. Fascinated by Brenda Fassie, she developed a passion for music at a very young age and released her first single M’BA in 2008.
A chorus-singer for the Enchanted Africa Ball, she sings with renowned artists such as Cheick Tidiane Seck and Oumou Sangare.
In 2019, she released an EP: "Tek la Runda" with the support of RFI Talent where she develops her musical style: "Faso-Electro-Pop," at the crossroads of Burkinabe folk, pop and electro in which Kandy defends women’s rights around the world.
Since then, she has been involved in many projects with artists such as Guts, Amazones d’Afrique, and El Gato Negro.
In October 2021, she released her first album: Nagtaba, with a clear electro vibe through which you can feel the traditional rhythms of Burkina Faso.
At the same time, she continues her commitment to hearing-impaired children in Burkina Faso with the association "Que du bonheur en son" which she sponsors.
During the show, Perrine, a sign language interpreter and member of the collective "10 Doigts en Cavale", will translate Kandy’s music for the deaf and hearing impaired.

Since 1987, we have accompanied 134 professional musical groups: choirs, orchestras, vocal groups and participated in the detection of many young artists in France and Africa. For most of them, we were their very first sponsor. Our Night of the Voice honors them.
