At the heart of the Orange Foundation and host to the Orange Book Prize

In 2018, lecteurs.com joined the Orange Foundation which is committed to making digital technology a force for equal opportunities. The commitment is made through support for festivals and events with an educational programme targeting audiences less familiar with literature.

For the past ten years, the Orange Foundation has awarded the Orange Book Prize: a panel made up of authors, bookshop owners and readers from the community at lecteurs.com, select and elect the winning book with the help of web users.
Since 2019, a new Orange Book Prize has been held in Africa to promote and encourage young French-speaking African authors giving them greater visibility.
