Musical patronage: 14 new projects!

30 projects chosen

The members of the Orange Foundation selection committee have once again voted to support 16 ongoing musical projects as well as 14 new projects. 2015-2016 is shaping up to be a year of artistic quality, originality, and professionalism across the country.
The ensemble Contraste, for instance, has put together an original project based on Henry Purcell’s opera, The Fairy Queen. The Marseille Cinq Continents Jazz Festival is giving young jazz musicians the opportunity to perform alongside more established artists. In a similar vein, the Vézère festival has put together a program combining classical music, jazz and even bossa nova, performed by young talented musicians and international artists alike.

Making vocal music accessible to all

These ensembles and festivals are bringing vocal music to audiences around France. By supporting these groups and the diversity of their repertoire, we are proud to help make music accessible to all audiences, wherever they are and wherever they come from. The Orange Foundation is the leading sponsor of operas broadcast in cinemas and outdoor venues.
As was the case for the projects we supported in 2014, our musical patronage for the coming months promises to make this year an exciting one.
