Orange Sings

On 21 June 2010, the same day as the World Music Day, we launched the Orange Sings project, bringing together over 1,300 employees as part of 35 choirs in France and internationally.

Over 1,300 employees are participating and 35 choirs have been created throughout France and internationally. This initiative follows a pilot scheme carried out in Spain with the Fundación Orange, which created an employee choir in Madrid in 2009.
The Orange Sings project is part of the Orange Foundation philanthropy strategy for singing and part of its desire to share music with as many Group employees as possible.
In addition weekly practices in the workplace, the choirs hold concerts during various local and national events:

  • The Nuit de la Voix 2011 / 2013 / 2014 / 2015 in Paris (Grand Rex, Théâtre du Châtelet)
  • sharing concerts (for autism associations, hospitals or retirement homes)
concerts during internal events (Christmas, seminars...)
  • music festivals 2011/2012/2013/2014/2015 with concerts at professional sites

The national Orange Sings project motivated the company from June 2010 to June 2016. Since September, some employees have chosen to continue to meet each week and now work independently without forming official employee associations.
