Pompidou Centre MOOC: it’s back with three new gestures!

Back with three new gestures

With over 23,000 subscribers, the MOOC covers modern and contemporary art in five gestures and is already a huge hit.
With the support of professionals, participants discover how artwork is made, the gestures and actions from which they emerge.

From 23 April to 15 July, the modern and contemporary art in 8 gestures MOOC opens with three new modules: slowing down, rituals, and invention.

New artists and experts have been added to this latest version, including choreographer Gisèle Vienne, who teaches us how to slow down, and Christophe André, who helps participants to understand the role and place of rituals in life.

Participants will discover an even greater variety of entertaining content.

Your designs included in the Fabrice Hyber collection!

There are some big surprises waiting for learners in the ‘invention’ module, thanks to original content sent to artist Fabrice Hyber.
Participants are invited to re-imagine everyday objects, drawing inspiration from the POF models - Prototypes d’objets en fonctionnement (Prototypes of functioning objects).
For the first time, they will be able to exhibit their work on 11 July 2018 at the Pompidou centre. Selected works will be officially integrated into Fabrice Hyber’s POF collection.
