Revealing and supporting the artists of the future

The Orange Foundation detects new talents, helps them emerge, and provides support as they take their first steps on the music scene, become professionals, and encounter the public.

In 30 years, we have detected and supported over 125 choirs, orchestras, and vocal groups created and led by visionary young leaders and artists, who are now firmly in the spotlight.

Whether they are passionate about baroque music, contemporary creations, jazz or world music, they all have a few things in common: their energy, talent, and extraordinary ability to share their passion and emotion with the public.

Philippe Jaroussky

« I met the Orange Foundation for my first solo album. Its support, which is a serious credential in the music industry, meant that I was able to become a recognised recording artist fairly quickly. I would have lost years without its support. »

In 2017/2018, the Orange Foundation is partnering with the Centre Français de Promotion Lyrique (CFPL) and the Caisse des Dépôts to host the Voix Nouvelles competition. More than 600 young singers will audition in France and other French-speaking countries. All of the country’s opera houses will be involved in this great national audition, which will select 6 winners, 6 promising young singers like Natalie Dessay, Stéphane Degout, or Karine Deshayes, all past Voix Nouvelles winners.
