Solidarity FabLab Ya+k: a place to exchange

Ya+k will attend VivaTech and present its designer furniture. Discover the Solidarity FabLab which joined the network in 2017.

L’hyper, the FabLab managed by the Ya+k collective of architects, town planners and designers, is a place for exchanging ideas about digital manufacturing that has welcomed around fifteen young people since it opened.

A place for exchanging

The Solidarity FabLab is above all a training laboratory targeting a local audience. It uses innovative and dynamic creation methods that incorporate the collaborative economy, new technology, and professional reintegration.
The projects address real local issues dealing with recycling, DIY, housing, etc.

The Ya+k adventure began several months ago with a team of volunteers which gradually transformed. Four of them are now employees of the FabLab.
All of the members are specialised in a specific field - digital milling, woodwork, welding, modelling, design, IT. The team have complementary skills and can train young people.
Hyper welcomes young people in internships, civic services or insertion contracts from the city of Bagnolet, including those experiencing academic or social difficulties.
