Solidarity for education

In the spirit of solidarity, Orange Foundation mobilised employees to volunteer their time, skills and resources during the 2015 Orange employee volunteering week. Employees joined hands and raised funds to donate printers, library books and education equipment to Kagiso Senior Secondary School. During the week-long activities, Orange employees fully engaged with the students through computer lessons, a career guidance fair and a Maths and Science quiz. Over 1200 students benefited from this initiative.

This year’s activities kicked off with a Zumba session to raise funds and create public awareness of the Employee Volunteering Week.

The Employee Volunteering Week is an annual event emphasized by Orange Group through the Orange Foundation, where for a week members of staff who are volunteers are celebrated and given time out from work to engage in volunteering activities.
