Designed by the CREAI of Aquitaine for the families of people with autism, the aim of game is to help them with their everyday tasks. The new game is now available on mobile devices via the Android and Apple app stores.
Because we strive to encourage innovative digital solutions to improve the lives of those with autism and their families, we are the main sponsor of Tsara.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), autism affects 1 in 150 people. We encounter people every day with autism without even realising. Their perception of the world is different to ours. Their reactions in different situations can be unexpected (school, family meals, hobbies, friends, love, shopping, dentist, travelling, etc.). By playing Tsara, we can all adopt best practices, learn the best ways to interact with people with autism. Tsara is available for free in French or in English in the Android and Apple stores.
The aim of the game is to help Adam, a young person with autism.
The game involves interacting with Adam, a young person with autism, to help him face difficult situations in life. You can follow the adventures of Adam throughout his life, from childhood to adulthood. The game has you take on the role of a helper – a teacher, parent, friend/sibling, fellow students, work colleagues, etc. The game takes place in various locations and is based on original scenarios, such as school, during play time, playing sport, at home, at the supermarket, at a restaurant, at the doctor’s, at work, etc.
Official recommendations validated by the experts
The responses set out by Tsara are derived from autism-related recommendations given by the National Health Authority (HAS), the National Agency for the Evaluation of the Quality of Social and Medico-social Establishments and Services (ANESM, 2010, 2012) and the Ministry of Education (2009).
